# Is my payment secure?

Yes, your data is in good hands. When filling in and sending your details, a secure https:// connection is made. On the page where you have to fill in your payment details you are ensured by the https:// checkmark in the address bar. This stands for a Secure (safe) encrypted connection and therefore **you will see a lock in the status bar **(bottom of the screen).

This way you can be sure that your data, when sent to the payment provider, will be encrypted and **all your data is safe and secure** at all times.
